Fox Theatre tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a classic spot that’s more than just a movie theater? The Fox Theatre in Redwood City is that place. This historic gem has been a hub for community events, from lively school performances and graduation ceremonies to the annual Redwood City International Film Festival that’s been around since 2013. It’s like the heartbeat of the local arts scene. After a big renovation in 2026, the theater reopened with some safety measures in place, think lower capacity and social distancing, so it’s still a great place to catch a show without feeling crowded. The vibe is super welcoming, and you can snag standing tickets for sold-out shows at a cheaper price, which is great if you’re feeling spontaneous or on a budget. Parking’s easy if you bike, with racks right outside, and if you’re taking public transit, the Redwood City train station is just a short walk away. Whether you’re catching a concert, a film, or a community event, the Fox Theatre really keeps the spirit of Redwood City alive. Plus, the seats are comfy, and the interactive seating chart makes picking your spot a breeze, whether you want front row for Leonid & Friends or snag a deal in the more affordable sections. Honestly, it’s a fantastic place to gather with friends, enjoy a night out, and soak in some local culture.
